AIS Foundation Contributions
The American Iris Society Foundation manages donation collection on behalf of the American Iris Society. Donations made for AIS causes, through the AIS Foundation, are immediately available to the AIS, and the tax benefits to the individual or organization are the same.
Donations can be made to the following funds of both the AIS and the AIS Foundation:
- AIS General Fund – Goes toward general operating expenses for the AIS.
- General Youth Fund – Goes toward awards for the Clark Cosgrove Contest and the AIS Coloring Contest and shipping of irises to Youth members among other things.
- AIS Calendar – Goes toward expenses incurred each year in printing the AIS Calendar.
- ELECtronic Services Fund – Goes toward funding upgrades to the AIS website, and other electronic services for the AIS.
- AIS Foundation General Fund – Goes toward general operating expenses for the Foundation.
- AIS LIBrary Fund – Goes toward rent for the AIS Library space in Oregon and cost of maintaining the AIS on-line library
- ENCYclopedia Fund – Goes toward the technical costs of maintaining the AIS WIKI.
- Research and Scholarship (R&S) Fund – Goes toward funding grants and iris research projects that are approved by the Foundation Board.
How can you make a contribution or memorial gift to the American Iris Society Foundation?
Please print or email the above donation form. Make all checks payable to “The AIS Foundation”. YOU MAY ALSO PAY BY CREDIT CARD, including VISA, Mastercard, Discover, and AMEX and PayPal.
If you do not use the form, please clearly identify on a separate sheet of paper:
- The recipient of the memorial or honor.
- The AIS Fund or AIS Foundation Fund to which you wish the donation to be credited.
- The name of the person(s) or organization making the donation.
- The address of person(s) to notify that the donation has been made.
